ABOUT ME

My full name is Benedict Andrew Burgess. I was born in Charlottesville, VA, on a dark and stormy July 16th.

I was raised on classic movies and country-pop music. At eight years old, I was diagnosed with Asperger Syndrome. It's hard to describe what that's like because I feel normal.

 

I fell in love with the creative arts during eighth grade, and have not looked back since. I've acted in theatre, written short stories, and won several awards--including "Outstanding Short Story" from the American Scholastic Press Association.

I earned my B.A. in Theatre & English (plus, a minor in Humanities) from Greensboro College. I worked at theatres across the U.S.A, both on stage and in the office. I am currently touring with The REV Theatre Co. in Auburn, NY.
